A private, non-profit service company formed under the Companies Act is Tanzania’s Aga Khan Education Service (AKES). It runs two English-medium schools in Dar es Salaam that follow international curricula, such as the Cambridge Lower Secondary Curriculum, the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) for Form 1-4, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (including the early years and the Diploma Programme).

A set of private development agencies called the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) is striving to better the lives of people in particular parts of the developing world, regardless of their religion or ethnicity. Open Positions
The following qualifications are being sought after to fill the unfilled jobs for the upcoming term beginning in August 2025 at the Aga Khan Mzizima Secondary School in Dar es Salaam (international section): AKES, Tanzania; dynamic personality; open-mindedness; commitment; effectiveness; and experience.

Courses in Science and Mathematics Teachers with experience in IGCSE and IB DP curriculum.
Teaching French with expertise in the IGCSE and IB curricula.
Proficiency in the IGCSE and IB curricula is a prerequisite for teaching positions in computer science.
Literature and Language in English Experienced educators and department heads with knowledge of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and its associated qualifications.
Childcare Provider.
Duties and Positions

To make learning go smoothly, make sure the classroom is a safe and interesting place for the kids.
Establish the overarching goals that must be met and provide ample challenges to each student to foster personal growth as they work towards these learning objectives.
Make sure the students accomplish what they set out to do, do a fantastic job, and keep getting better.
When creating lessons, keep in mind the students’ current skill levels and areas of knowledge.
Exhibit familiarity with, and competence in using, various effective pedagogical strategies.
Needed Skills and Experience

Graduate of an esteemed, nationally recognised institution with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education.
Experience teaching a related subject in an international school setting for at least three to four years, preferably as part of the IGCSE or IB DP curriculum.
Strong knowledge of, and background in, the planning, execution, and assessment of curriculum management systems.
Possessing knowledge of efficient frameworks for school improvement planning and self-evaluation, familiarity with methods for enhancing student achievement, and competency in the practices of modern education.
