Objective and Primary Duties of the Position
Job Objective:

Within the External Affairs function, which includes the Vodacom Tanzania Foundation, the PR & Communications Officer will offer support with media relations and corporate content production.
Primary Duties:

Promote Vodacom’s image as a purpose-driven company by spearheading the creation of AV communication material. 
Assist with public relations and media interactions by managing media engagements and preparing communications materials.
Assist the efforts of the Vodacom Tanzania Foundation in communicating with the outside world. 
Among other things, keep the Vodacom Digital Accelerator and Future Ready Summit’s social media schedule up to date as part of the company’s overall social media strategy.
Be on the lookout for mentions of important projects and campaigns in the media, and gather relevant press clippings.
 
Experience, Education, Skills, and Core Competencies

2. Performance Engineer

Technology and the aggregate function

Need to be qualified in a technical or professional field: 

A minimum of three years of relevant work experience
Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or telecommunications.

Having expertise in cloud computing and big data can be an asset in building and maintaining relationships with important organisational stakeholders.
