The most prominent sugar producer in the nation, Kilombero Sugar Jobs Vacancies (KSCL), works in tandem with Illovo Distillers Tanzania Limited (IDTL), a subsidiary of Illovo Sugar Africa Limited, the biggest sugar producer in Africa. Located in the Morogoro region in the country’s middle and southern region, the company is made up of two neighbouring sugar plants and agricultural estates, Ruembe and Msolwa, which are connected by a low-level bridge across the Great Ruaha River. From over 1.25 million tonnes of sugarcane, the company harvests about 130,000 metric tonnes of sugar per year. Our in-house cane-growing activities produce about 55% of this sugar, while our growers, who receive ongoing support from the company in the form of extension services and training and development, account for about 45%. Kilombero Sugar Jobs Vacancies (KSCL)’s direct consumption brown sugar, marketed under the ‘Bwana Sukari’ brand name, has strong local consumer support thanks to the company’s effective “route to market” sugar marketing strategy. Tanzania is a net importer of sugar at its present output levels of slightly more than 300,000 tonnes, and Kilombero is one of four sugar producers in the country. Work Goals
The ideal applicant will have experience optimising outbound logistics services and will be able to assist in implementing the Outbound Logistics Way and related standards.

Particular Tasks and Occupations
Through the Outbound Logistics and Sales Way and capability development plan, back the incorporation of best practices, minimum standards, rules, procedures, tools, technology, and enablers.
Please ensure transporter payments proceed smoothly by reconciling PODs and updating SAP daily.
Verify that all payments are due by comparing supplier statements, invoices, and supporting documents to the rates schedule, service, and performance. If there are any discrepancies, please flag them and pursue a resolution.
Invoices must be submitted promptly to Finance, and online PR requisitions must be generated when the initial payment process starts.
Verify with Finance that all payments have been processed in accordance with the terms of the agreement, and follow up with suppliers to keep the service and relationships strong.
Find ways to enhance the Order to Cash process and customer service delivery, and put those plans into action.
In particular, but not limited to, SHERQ, Competition Law, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) rules and guidelines should be promoted and honoured by Kilombero.
Responsibilities and Skills for the Position
A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in a related field (such as finance, business administration, etc.)
Preference given to candidates with two to three years of relevant work experience in an administrative financial role, strong skills in creditors’ and debtors’ rights and the ability to do financial reconciliations
Understanding of accounting software
Excellent time management, meticulousness, and numerical skills; fluent in Excel and other transportation management systems; strong verbal and written communication abilities;
Rules and Regulations: A permanent contract will be offered to the successful candidate.
